The company was first created in 2004. It was then known as Black Forest Productions. Black Forest was contracted to do a DVD cover for Ivan Rogers Forgive Me Father. During this time company founder Terence Muncy developed a passion for film-making. In 2005 production began on Zombie Skull. Initially percieved as a short, this project quickly expanded into Hell Walks the Earth. After months of arduous filming the shoot was called off, leaving the feature incomplete. In 2006 Warbranch returned attention to working on shorts. The Shack was completed later in the year, and made available for release at the first Horrorhound convention. Profit from this production was used to revitalize the Hell Walks the Earth feature.
